Lose the Sugary Drinks

Sugary drinks such as fruit drinks, Gatorade, Powerade, etc… are often pricey and not necessary for most people. Unless you have a physically demanding job that requires you to replenish sugars and electrolytes, stop buying these sugar-filled drinks. Instead, drink 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, it would be best to drink 100 ounces of water per day.

Eat at home

Most people know that they should not eat out frequently and eat at home. While most people understand this, the impact of actually doing this is much greater than most people think, for health reasons and financial reasons. While meal prep can take time, it is a worthy investment of your time to improve your healthy and your bank account.

Go on brisk walks

When most people think of a walk, they think of a nice stroll through the park to enjoy nature. This is not that type of walk. When doing a brisk walk, your strides should be long, arms moving as if you are running and taking as few breaks as possible. You should be able to work up quite a sweat if you do it correctly.
