Whether you’re a busy business professional or stay at home parent who uses nap time as an opportunity to get in a quick workout (this would be me), you’re always looking for something that is fast, effective and requiring minimal equipment. I whipped up this quick workout that can be done by anyone, anywhere, anytime and uses only your body weight! What makes this workout so versatile is that you complete as many rounds of the circuit as possible in 15 minutes. This means that more fit people will be able to complete more rounds while new fitness enthusiasts may only complete a couple and there is nothing wrong with that. Another great benefit of AMRAP (short for As Many Rounds As Possible) is that if you have a small group of people at different fitness levels that want to work out together, this allows each person to go at their own pace and work towards improvement. If you don’t even have 15 minutes, that fine! You can still do this in 10-12 minutes and still get a great workout. Here’s the workout:
Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes:
Note: The Burpee does ordinarily include a jump at the end but I could not do so due to filming conditions.
10 Jumping Jacks
20 Mountain Climbers
Remember, it’s only 15 minutes so only rest as absolutely needed, you want to get your heart rate up high but you don’t have much time to do so. Also, be sure to keep your form even when you get tired. When you lose focus and don’t pay attention to form, injuries are more likely to occur. Give it a shot and let me know how you do!
